After graduating from HHS, I attended Vanderbilt University for my BA and UAB for my Master's in Hospital and Health Administration. I met my husband of 22 years, Miles Snowden, at UAB while he was completing his residency in Internal Medicine. He is double boarded in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Miles was the medical director for Delta Air Lines for five years which translated into many wonderful trips to Europe with our girls. Miles is now with United Health Group. We live in Marietta, GA, with our two daughters, Emily (18) and Allison (16). Emily will attend Vanderbilt University this fall and Allison will be a junior in high school. I worked for 5 years in healthcare administration, first at University of Alabama Hospitals in Birmingham, AL, and then at Methodist Hospital in Louisville, KY. I have enjoyed many volunteer positions both in my children's schools and in the community since retiring from the hospital.
