Still in Huntsville because that’s where home is. Mountains, rivers, lakes, and a short 7 hour drive to the beach. I am the supervisor at the NASA helpdesk. I did not think my teaching degree and my special education training would come in handy but being in management has taught me differently. I am a volunteer swim coach for Special Olympics but spend a lot of my time taking care of my aging mom. I understand many of us are in the aging parent boat. I am making plans to build my retirement home on Guntersville Lake and am looking forward to waking up and walking down to the pier and throwing a line in the water.
I have enjoyed our HHS get togethers and reconnecting. It is so funny to me that when I am talking with ya’ll, my mind sees us when we were kids. Then I see the pictures and I think “who are all these grownups?”
